Under Construction
This blog will be up and running by May 12th, when Katie arrives in Cannes. Check back for updates, reviews and previews from the biggest film festival in the world.
I am a second year student at the University of St Andrews, taking English and Film. I've been completely obsessed with movies since high school, where I took filmmaking courses, and got hooked on festivals through volunteering at the Toronto International Film Festival. I have been Head of the Film Section at the Saint since September, and Cannes will be the second film festival I've attended as an accredited journalist.
Update: I'm now in fourth year, and after a great year abroad I'm glad to be back in St Andrews and film section editor again. We have a new blog up at thesaintscreen.wordpress.com, and you can read Mary Andes' coverage of the 2009 London International Film Festival at thesaintscreen.tumblr.com.
